My new home part 2...

I love my new home........ it took us over a year to feel more and more at home here in Australia.
Melbourne has so so many hidden shops, lots and lots of beautiful shops.
I have not taken much furniture from the UK, some of them are really old and not worth it to pay for the shipping, so we had to leave it behind.
We have been searching for all these furniture here in Melbourne and found really great second hand shops that sell lots of mid century stuff.

I love my Japanese little tree, actually this is a pomegranate little tree :)
My decorating style is what I feel comfortable with, I like mix decorating, Asian/modern and Ikea :)
I used to have a Pastoe big wall unit living in Amsterdam, that I still miss and Jan des Bouvries sofas
I love their style but had to leave it in Holland when moving to Sydney a couple of years ago. They are now living with friends and family!

This small vintage kidney shape table I have purchased in the UK.

A beautiful red mid century plate that has been given to me from a friend in the UK.
I have Asian parents and they told me to put red things in the house, red  brings luck in the home.

The candle holder is purchased from Vincent shop here in Melbourne.

This little bird is purchased from an Etsy seller

This beautiful mid century Danish dining table/chairs is purchased in a Melbourne shop.
You can extend the table too...........

Wishing you a great weekend wherever you are.......
