New Designers Exhibition 2009

I was hoping to take some close up pictures, unfortunately I was not allowed to do this, which I can understand.

It was an amazing exhibition with lots and lots of talented textile artists!

I particularly like Shino Suzuki, Ayumi Iguchi and Gray's School of Art.

I had a wonderful weekend and it was so great to recharge my batteries.

My home

I am not a minimalist more of a maximalist, I love to decorate my house with all sort of
things that I think it's beautiful, I love to see colours in my home.

I have found this 60's bag in Winchester market,my daughter Sophie saw it and have used this as one of her so many handbags :D

The bag has been beautifully embroidered and lined with 60's fabric.

This is my favorite spot to sit at home, with Ikea and handmade pillows...........
The quilt is handmade by me with Denyse Schmidt fabrics.

How does my garden grow?

As you can see, everything is growing fast,thanks to the hot weather we are having here in the UK.

My courgettes and mange tout are so sweet and great to make stir fry!

These are my cauliflower romanesco, carrots and spinach... can't believe it!
I am not sure where to plant them, running out of space.

remember this little seed......they.have grown into big pumpkin plants!

River Cottage Family Cookbook

I have purchased this book a couple of days ago from Amazon and really pleased I have bought it!
I have been reading lots and lots of good reviews about this book on a number of blogs and yes I like to give it a try!
My husband has already been curing his homemade bacon :D, Sophie is trying to make fudge today and I like to try the roast squid........lots and lots of nice recipes to try out.
Highly recommended!

the Food Hall department, my husband came home yesterday with some cakes.....
they are really the Best and not that expensive!
